Chlorination of new water services and mains supplies.

All new water mains supply pipes must be chlorinated and disinfected to BS6700 standards before being connected to the water company supply.  No matter which water supply company covers your area, they will always need to inspect a certificate to prove that this chlorination has been completed in order for you to be connected for water supply.

When new water services are installed within buildings, they also require the same type of disinfection and chlorination to ensure complete eradication of contaminates.  We always follow both of these chemical cleaning processes with a thorough clean-water flush and a comprehensive range of bacteriological tests to ensure that the system has been effectively cleaned and chlorinated.  Certificates are then issued to demonstrate compliance in these areas.

BSRIA Flushing of heating and chilled water systems.

Many consultants will specify the use of a specialist contractor to carry out chemical cleaning, chlorination, flushing and dosing of closed systems.  Using environmentally friendly cleansing products, we flush your newly installed heating or water system to BSRIA BG1/2001(2004Ed) standards. This will ensure that all potentially harmful contaminates from installation are removed.  This could include dirt, dust and flux residue.  This process will also contribute towards keeping your system running  at optimum performance and protected against corrosion and limescale damage.
